Lilian Garcia is thankful for the reception she received for her surprise appearance on Monday night’s WWE Raw.

Briefly returning to her old ring announcing role for a one-off appearance, Garcia introduced Kofi Kingston for a King of the Ring quarterfinal match against Gunther on Raw last night. Garcia also got to share a moment with Samantha Irvin, who currently serves as the lead ring announcer for WWE.

After the appearance, Garcia made a post on X/Twitter thanking the fans for the support they showed her.

Garcia first joined WWE in 1999 and had two separate stints with the company until departing WWE in 2016. She’s been back for occasional appearances since then, and her old Chasing Glory podcast was featured on the WWE Network in 2020.

Monday’s Raw was held in South Carolina, which is where Garcia currently lives. On her Instagram stories, Garcia explained that she went to Raw just to say hello to everyone. The next thing she knew, she was part of the show. Garcia thanked Paul “Triple H” Levesque for including her.

“I just stopped by to say hi to everybody. Next thing you know, I was on the show,” Garcia said. “It was so much fun. Triple H, thank you so much for including me in the show. Doing that with Samantha was so awesome. And all the fans and the reception that I got, you guys are amazing. I miss you. I’m just so glad that I can pop in every now and then. I hope you guys had fun tonight because there’s nothing like a live Raw event. Until next time, I love you.”

Garcia is a singer and has also previously done ring announcing for the Professional Fighters League MMA organization.

Gunther defeated Kingston last night to advance in the King of the Ring tournament. It will be Gunther vs. Jey Uso in a semifinal match on Raw next week.
